A lot of people make money by blogging and that’s a fact. I can name a couple of successful bloggers like Perez Hilton and Arianna Huffington; Perez Hilton owns the blog “PerezHilton.com” while Arianna Huffington owns the famous “HuffingtonPost.com”. There are still a number of people who are earning millions of dollars just by blogging. Because of this trend, more than millions of people all over the world are trying their hand into this very lucractive business venture. After all, if they can do, why can’t you?
Can you really earn?
Of course you can, but don’t believe the hype of earning thousands of dollars overnight. If you really want to make money by blogging, you have to accept the fact that while you may not be earning millions of dollars every month, you are guaranteed a steady revenue if you work hard enough. As your website grows older, so does your online authority. This will open up countless opportunities to earn more; more access to affiliate sites, higher targeted traffic and so on.
Getting started
When you want to make money by blogging, you need to do a couple of things first before you can actually join in the fun:
1.) Get a blog – There are blog sites like Blogger and Wordpress which offer free blogging services. You can get started with a couple of clicks of a button and setup is very easy.
2.) Find a niche – This is where your earnings will rely. Websites with affiliate products are very picky because they want to place their ads on relevant blogs. It’s also important to look for a niche that fits your interest because you will be blogging for a long time. Once you have your niche, you can easily locate the products or services that will help you make money by blogging.
How to make real money
There are a lot of ways to make money by blogging and all you need is a couple of hours every day to start generating some real income. I am going to share some of the most awesome tips on how to succeed in blogging:
1.) Keep your blog updated – Advertisers love blogs that are always updated and it’s also a good sign for your readers because they’ll always find something new in your blog, which is a big factor if you want them to keep coming back.
2.) Keep it relevant and unique– Search engines and advertisers hate blogs that are full of spam, irrelevant and plagiarized articles. While most paid posts are tempting, it’s best to stick to the articles that fit your niche.
3.) Keep it legitimate – This is very important if you’re running PPC ads on your blog like Google Adsense. PPC ads are strict when it comes to fraudulent clicks and if you violate one of their rules, you’ll be blacklisted and your search engine rankings are also affected.
Take the opportunity
The best thing about blogging is that you can do it on your own time and pace, without any restrictions or limitations. If you really want to make money by blogging, then you need to be patient because you won’t be earning millions overnight; but it doesn’t mean that it’s impossible. If you work hard enough, you can generate a steady stream of income every day.
